New stuff :)

Let's see, new post.

So, lots going on I guess.  I'm in the process of moving, that's the biggest news to date.  It's extremely slow going and frustrating.  I want to move like yesterday and it's just not happening. But the search continues each day. I do have a few hopeful places and it's just a matter of time.

I've been losing weight.  Which is always a great thing.  I'm officially down 10.5 pounds and have lost 5 inches around my waist, and plan to keep on going til I reach my goal.   I set very doable mini goals for myself and reward myself by buying clothes etc.. that make me feel good about my success.  Since I lost 10 pounds I bought a pair of Ralph Lauren sandles for $10 yesterday and love them!  Here's a picture of them.

It's another hot day here.  I've let my duckies out this morning, and they seem cool and happy.  Plants are doing well.  It's far too hot for my liking but it's summer so, what can I say.  Got to talk to my sweet lil' sis this morning.  She's awesome, and since I've already cleared it with her, felt like would like to share the pic of her and me that was taken long ago at the photo booth at the beach.  I miss those times.  :)

I'm a little devastated to say the least as I found a place that offers a device to help people who stutter. And since Ethan continues to have this affliction, I was very excited when I learned of it. Here's the link: Speech Easy Now, I found this place a while ago and have been wanting to check it out.  I finally did and everything on the site was pretty straight forward.  However, the cost was unrealistic for the typical family. (well,...in MY opinion anyways)  There's just no way I could afford to get this amazing device for my son.  First they don't accept ANY insurance, which makes it hard to start with.  Then, they require such a large payment upfront before you even receive the device that it's just completely ridiculous. And they SAY there is a 60 day trial but what they don't tell you is that if you don't like it after the 60 days you DO NOT get your full refund! They keep 10% of it!  Needless to say, I'm not able to help him with this device.
(just venting my frustrations)

I recently registered both the boys for soccer!!  I think I'm more excited then they are! They will start up in the fall :)  I decided to also take the two of them to gymnastics in the Fall as well.  I'm trying to get them more out of the house as much as possible and keep them active this year.

So, that's what's been happening with me. not too much.

What EVER possessed me to keep reading????

I'm not sure how I got sucked into staying up this late reading horror stories on Yahoo news..... but I did.

I can't even repeat some of the atrocities my eyes gazed upon,  but all you need know is that, the heinous crimes I read about made me sick to my stomach.  It left me wanting to hug my babies tight and never let go.

I think I will go on Netflix and watch a mindless cartoon or something, just so that I don't have nightmares!!

Seriously, my heart is still racing... how awful.   :(

Wow.....the 1 year mark.

Wow 1 year.   One year ago today I was in Keene.  One year ago today I was moving box after box into a truck to come back to my hometown.   The thing that saddens me is that, this time last year I still felt that I was in a relationship.  Even saying that brings chunks to my throat.

I know you can't see what others see when you're so close to the situation.  However, in this particular instance, I honestly think I had temporarily gone insane.  Because you'd have to blind not to see how my EX-boyfriend mistreated me.   It never ceases to amaze me how stupid I was then for staying with him as long as I did.

And what was worse, I actually continued to CHASE him after I moved.  I say chased because I was the only one who made the attempt to communicate after moving.  No emails, no calls no nothing.   Imagine.

Anyways.....
Just had to write this.
